With the IncentiCare plan, employees are able to earn thousands of dollars toward lower deductibles by simply participating in a health screening and meeting screening goals. The plan is backed by a Preventive Health Management program that uses innovative health technology and health professionals to provide participants with the necessary tools to accomplish lifestyle changes.
- Employees are able to discover unknown health risks using blood data from the annual health screening, as well as historical claims data when available.
- Proactive functional health coaches reach out to at-risk employees to engage and empower them to make healthy lifestyle choices.
- Functional Medicine protocols are used to identify and address the root cause of claims, as opposed to traditional "diagnose and prescribe" methods, helping employees reverse their medical conditions instead of just suppressing them with medication which can lead to side-effects and additional complications.
Outcome-Based Deductible Incentives
IncentiCare gives employees the opportunity to earn money toward a lower deductible by passing company goals for five health biomarkers directly affected by lifestyle:
- Body Mass Index (BMI)
- Blood Pressure
- Blood Glucose
- LDL Cholesterol
- Tobacco Use
For example, let's say employees start with a $5,000 deductible plan. By meeting company goals for health biomarkers, employees can lower their deductible by three thousand dollars and earn down to a $2,000 deductible plan.
Annual Blood Screening
Employees’ deductibles are determined using the health results from annual blood screenings prior to the beginning of the year. Annual blood screenings empower employees by discovering unknown health risks, and also benefit them by earning thousands in deductible incentives.
After the Annual Blood Screening
Health Results
Within two weeks of completing screenings, employees receive results through BeniComp's secure online portal. Participants have immediate access to health results, as well as simple, intuitive explanations of what their health results mean.
Educational Outreach
BeniComp’s Preventive Health Management (PHM) team proactively reaches out to employees with out-of-range health results. Our team partners with employees to teach them what their health results mean and what they can do to improve them.
Functional Health Coaching
If health risks are discovered, IncentiCare provides a Preventive Health Management (PHM) team to help employees address health risks at no cost to the employee.
Participants are offered one-on-one coaching sessions covered by the plan, at no cost to the employee. BeniComp's Functional Health Coaches partner with employees to make sustainable lifestyle changes that positively impact their health.
