What You'll Do

As a Client Advocate Associate, you will work with advisors and account managers to give clients and members a refreshing health insurance experience. We do this in a collaborative, high-energy environment.

You will deliver on the business objectives set through the sales process and benchmark progress toward the goals throughout the customer lifecycle. Our clients are employers who want to provide their employees with best-in-class, preventive health insurance. Each client might have anywhere from 10 to 10,000 members. You will create meaningful relationships with clients, and provide solutions with a heavy focus on customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to brokers and advisors: Handle all incoming requests from brokers and advisors in conjunction with the Account Managers. 
  • Support Account Management and Sales: Collaborate with Account Managers and Sales to ensure exceptional service experience. 
  • Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with sales, account management, implementation, member advocates,  and technology teams to ensure exceptional experience.
  • Process Optimization: Bring process opportunities forward to support and ensure client satisfaction. 
  • Standard Documentation: Assist in the support and implementation of standard processes around documentation of all communications between Benicomp Service and external constituents. 
  • Service Standards: Assist in establishing KPIs and service-level agreements (SLAs) for the Employer Services  department. 
  • Proactive Service: Support account management and leadership in developing strategies to engage and retain employer clients by  delivering consistent service. 
  • Automation Initiatives: Support automation efforts to reduce manual intervention in service delivery. Act as a key individual in supporting efforts of implementing efficient processes. 
  • Client Communication: Collaborate in the implementation of  communication strategies to keep employer groups informed during the implementation phase. 
  • Feedback Loop: Take part in establishing a feedback process to gather insights from clients and use the data to  refine implementation and service practices.
  • Perform other duties as needed

Requirements

  • 3-5 years progressive customer service experience within the insurance industry. TPA/Self funded experience preferred. 
  • Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills. 
  • Call center experience preferred. 
  • Exceptional communication skills, including a professional demeanor with a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure client satisfaction. 
  • Understanding of the rules and regulations around Hipaa and the application process to communicating with clients. 
  • Ability to work across departments to resolve issues.
